Yeah May!

So you can see in the tracking sheet that I really fell apart when I got a bad cold in the middle of April. Plus Mom was here so I was having fun doing things with her and didn't work up the motivation to exercise a lot. And I ate TONS of junk. But, all in all, it wasn't as much a regression as I had anticipated. I had put off weighing myself because I knew it was going to be bad. But I weighed myself this morning and I was 224.6, which isn't too much above my recent low. So I'm rededicating myself to doing better. :-)

Anybody out there going to play along with me in May? I could use the moral support.

AHHH!!!!!

So I thought I was making tons of good progress and was really proud of myself because I weigh 9 pounds less than a couple weeks ago. Then I tried to put on some pants that I haven't worn since before I broke my ankle. Let me tell you, I still have quite a ways to go.

Looser Pants!

So my pants are fitting looser. It's nice. And I haven't been doing a whole lot. Biking to work, something to get my heart rate up for a little while, some situps and pushups each day, and not eating any junk until after I exercise. It's working. I weigh less than I did and I feel better. It hasn't been long enough to make a solid habit, but it's coming.

I am thinking about making a no treats rule for next month. I don't know yet. I am excited about how it's working and I hope I will stick with it.

Day Whatever!

I'm feeling stronger now, after a few situps and pushups, but I weigh more than I want still.

Well, with March Madness over, now I'll have less excuse to eat junk. :-) Having to do some exercise before eating junk is helping though.

Hmmm

Day 4 was hard.

Between all the running around for shopping and helping with the YM/YW fundraisers and 3 sessions of Conference, I didn't get much good stuff done. And then I stayed up late to read. Bad choice. Well, at least I'm gonna do better today. :-)

Biggest Loser

Alright Ya'll,
I just want to say that I failed miserably yesterday! We had a big birthday party at work and we all ate lots and lots of junk. I have worked out at the gym 3 times this week and I feel great! Now I have a little news of my own... we have been having a biggest loser contest at work for the last few months. We had the first weigh in July and the next day I got put on steroids for my allergies. Well being on three different steroids everyday I gained a lot of weight and got depressed because I wasn't doing so well in the work competition. I took myself off my steroids and started going to the gym again to lose the weight I gained and more. I just want to tell you all that we had the final weigh in at work yesterday (yes, right after I stuffed my face with treats) and I got second place!!! I won a $75 gift card to the Idaho Falls mall. I am going to save it and buy me some super cute and smaller clothes after we are done with this biggest loser thing. I have a long ways to go but winning yesterday has given me some more motivation. SO good luck to everyone!!!

Day 3

Feeling good. Got to work early the last three days. It's nice. And I weigh less today than last time I weighed in. From 235 to 226.8 lbs. Part of that is because the first one was in the doctor's office with clothes and shoes and stuff a while ago, and part of it is exercise and portion control.

So at least on paper I have a big weight drop. Let's hope I keep it up. How's everyone else doing? Let's see some posts!

Day 1

Day 1.

Today I turned down donuts and animal crackers this morning, and it was a good thing I did. At Mutual we went out for ice cream and planning but all the young men were so timid they didn't want to order. So I had to order something and eat it. Then they followed suite. So I did eat some junk, but for a good cause, and after using my agency to not eat free donuts.

I also biked today. So that should help.
